Maryam Gulamova Karabekiroglu

Maryam Gulamova Karabekiroglu is a specialist in political public relations. She has extensive experience working in both government and private sectors in Azerbaijan and Türkiye. Over the years, she has played an active role in developing Azerbaijan’s municipal system and has been involved in several political, including election, campaigns. Maryam has held key positions in organizations such as SOCAR Türkiye, contributing to their corporate strategies and public relations. With a background in political strategy and media management, she brings an international perspective, having worked in Türkiye, Azerbaijan, France, and Switzerland. She holds a Master of Science in Political Strategy from Baku State University and is fluent in Azerbaijani, Turkish, Russian, and English.

Dr. François Saint-Ouen

Secretary General of the Swiss-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SACCI), is a specialist in European integration. He has taught at several universities in France and Switzerland, notably at the University of Geneva. In 1990, as part of a mission initiated by the President and the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe and the FEDRE Foundation, with the support of the Canton of Geneva, he accompanied and advised the Ministry of Reforms of Poland during the democratic transition of the country. Together with his colleague, he created the Council of Europe Information Office in Warsaw. For many years, he has also been a senior adviser and secretary general of the FEDRE Foundation for the Sustainable Development of European Regions, working on issues related to regional institutions and sustainable development. He has been particularly active in the Balkans.

Alekper Aliyev

Alekper Aliyev is the president of the Swiss-Azerbaijani Association for Friendship, Culture, and Solidarity. With a background in PR and marketing, he has managed various high-profile projects, including media initiatives, and has led numerous events, such as promoting Azerbaijani culture in Switzerland. His previous roles include managing the PR department in the banking sector and overseeing marketing at several major advertising companies. Alekper graduated from Marmara University in Communication Sciences and speaks Azerbaijani, Turkish, Russian, and German.

Dr. Orkhan Zamanli

Dr. Orkhan Zamanli is a senior neurologist currently working at Medizin Campus Bodensee in Friedrichshafen, Germany. He has extensive experience in neurology and psychiatry, having previously worked at various clinics across Germany. He is actively involved in the think tank activities of the Caspian-Alpine Society, supporting the implementation of various cultural and humanitarian projects. Dr. Zamanli is fluent in Azerbaijani, English, German, Russian, and Turkish.
