Life Across Two Countries: The Zamanli Family

The Caspian-Alpine Society is excited to announce the launch of a groundbreaking video blogging program designed to bridge cultural divides and foster understanding between different communities.

Orkhan Zamanli, Jennifer Zamanli

This initiative will be spearheaded by Dr. Orkhan Zamanli, a Senior Physician in Neurology at the Medizin Campus Bodensee in Friedrichshafen, Germany, and his wife, Jennifer Zamanli, a nurse from Hamburg, Germany. Currently residing on the shores of Lake Constance, Orkhan and Jennifer bring unique perspectives from their Azerbaijani and German backgrounds, respectively.

In collaboration with a video blogger Javidan Abdinov from Friedrichshafen, our organization aims to support the creation and development of a vlog that will explore life in Germany and Azerbaijan, highlighting both the differences and commonalities between these cultures.

Project Objectives

Bridge Cultural Divides: To build bridges between the Azerbaijani and German communities by sharing personal stories, cultural practices, and everyday life experiences.

Educate and Inform: To provide insightful content that educates viewers about the history, traditions, and modern life in both Azerbaijan and Germany.

Foster Community Engagement: To create an interactive platform where viewers from different backgrounds can engage in meaningful dialogue, share experiences, and learn from one another.

Tasks and Activities

Content Creation: Orkhan and Jennifer Zamanli will produce regular video blogs that share their personal experiences, cultural insights, and travels in Germany and Azerbaijan.

Community Interaction: The vlog will encourage viewer interaction through comments, Q&A sessions, and possibly live streaming events, to foster a sense of community among viewers.

Collaboration with Local Communities: Engage with local communities in Friedrichshafen and beyond to feature guest speakers, attend cultural events, and showcase community initiatives.

Educational Segments: Include segments that focus on teaching aspects of Azerbaijani and German languages, cooking demonstrations of traditional foods, and explanations of cultural norms and practices.

Expected Outcomes

Increased Cultural Awareness: Viewers gain a deeper understanding of and appreciation for the rich cultural heritages of Azerbaijan and Germany.

Community Growth: Build a loyal and engaged community of viewers who are interested in cultural exchange and learning about new perspectives.

Positive Representation: Provide a positive representation of intercultural relationships and the benefits of cultural diversity and inclusion.

Support for Peaceful Coexistence: Contribute to the global efforts of promoting peace and understanding between different cultures and nations.

This video blogging program represents an innovative approach to cultural exchange, leveraging the power of personal storytelling and digital media to connect communities and foster global understanding. The Caspian-Alpine Society is committed to supporting this project and looks forward to the positive impact it will have on promoting intercultural dialogue and understanding.
